Sa grande intelligence alliée à sa gentillesse naturelle en font un poney d'ecole et de concours fantastique pour les enfants. Il est très prisé pour les activités d'extérieur, chasse ou cross, grâce à un pied très sûr. Facile aussi à atteler, il donne énormément de plaisir à ses utilisateurs dans tous les coins du monde où il est largement représenté.

Welsh Mountain Pony Section A 121.9 cm maximum
Dedicated to raising quality Welsh Mountain Ponies suited to children from ages 4 through 14.
The Welsh Pony Section A is strong; sure of foot, but elegant with a beautiful arab-like head and flowing mane and tail. We breed for excellent character and aptitude in jumping and dressage, but our ponies also make wonderful companions for your child or are very comfortable pulling a cart.
Our pony prices start at 1200 euros and they are aged from 6 months to 4 years. Alternatively we have stallions available for breeding to your mares, should you want to create your very own child's pony. The cost is 500 euros and includes one month for your mare in our fields.

In France just under the Alsace Lorraine, close to Besancon in the Haute Saone, Chateau Fleuri is centrally located in the east of France close to Switzerland and Germany. We can offer prospective buyers comfortable overnight accomodations.
We have over 15 ponies, with approximately 7 for sale or lease at any time. Reserve your foals early though as we have great demand. Our excellent stallions are also available for breeding to your mares on our premises. These Welsh ponies are ideal for children and parents who are searching for a kind, smart pony with the ability to provide you with many ribbons in all levels of competitions, whether it be jumping, dressage, western or cross country. We have imported the best old bloodlines from Wales and are strict in our selection process regarding character, model and competitive ability, as well as putting emphasis on finding a best friend for your child.

Aurelie in Full Action on her Welsh PartBred Mare after only 1 year of work Note the relaxed reins and how her pony is listening
Aurelie of Lyon has had great success with her purchase of the Welsh Part-Bred mare, Hollyvale Aurore last summer. Since then, Aurelie has trained her in less than a year and competed in Pony Games on a European level and expects to be at the finals in Wales this year! Another great career for these lovely ponies - note "Holly" as Aurelie has named her is about 1.32 cm and Aurelie is 20+ yrs of age so ponies for every age and use.
The half-brother of "Holly" also a Welsh Part-Bred was imported last fall and will be offered for sale/training in mid May - please refer to the For Sale page. Hollyvale Agassi is more substantial than this mare and will be taller with a great character. When you have a specific discipline in mind it is worthwhile to buy these ponies awaiting their final training (but well educated!) and then they will be perfectly adapted to your use -as we did with Aurelie's pony.

This son of Joshua and Destiny is available for breeding purposes in the Southwest area of France at the stud of Mme Karine Chassary, Elevage Voulpiac. "Destin" who is just turning 2, combines the best of old bloodlines with marvelous color and a peppy personality and we are very proud of his great progress. He is starting his breeding career this year. and might be appropriate for those of you in his geographic area.
Velvet Royal, now growing up in the Southwest alps of France (higher than Wales) seems to be turning smoky palomino - we will see! He is the full brother of UltraRoyale, a cremello born in 2008 and now at Elevage Beaumanoir and AquaRoyal, a perlino born this May, and half-brother to Destin above so many color genes floating through his veins

Participating also at this year's Welsh Show in Jallerange was our old friend, pony "Doylan's Bobby Dazzler" a golden chestnut, who was sold last year to a lovely home in Faucogny. He is not only learning to drive, but placed FIRST in his category at the Welsh Show, and as you can see from the picture is in excellent condition at his new home. Thanks to Birgit and Ezio !

Two Pony Tales!
We also take two girls as "stagiares" to manage and train our ponies for one week periods throughout the summer. These are offered to the girls "free" in return for room and board provided they have an excellent knowledge of horses and ponies. Please contact us!
